My social philosophy may be said to be enshrined in three words: liberty, equality and fraternity. Let no one, however, say that I have borrowed by philosophy from the French Revolution. I have not. My philosophy has roots in religion and not in political science. I have derived them from the teachings of my Master, the Buddha.

I totally disagree with the view that the Tibet struggle will die, and there will be no hope for Tibet, after the Dalai Lama passed away.

Over the years, I had nurtured the hope to be able to fly; to handle a machine as it rose higher and higher in the stratosphere was my dearest dream.

My life is my message.

You should always assert your rights lest somebody should wrong you unnecessarily.

What I'm asking for is hard. It's easier to be cynical; to accept that change isn't possible, and politics is hopeless, and to believe that our voices and actions don't matter. But if we give up now, then we forsake a better future.

God always takes the simplest way.

There is far more opportunity than there is ability.

The last moment is past; this moment is present; and, the next moment will be future. The past, present, and future change with every tick of the clock.

Force always attracts men of low morality.

Human beings must have action; and they will make it if they cannot find it.

 Even  P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E ends with the letter 'E.' There can be no patience after that.
