My message, especially to young people is to have courage to think differently, courage to invent, to travel the unexplored path, courage to discover the impossible and to conquer the problems and succeed. These are great qualities that they must work towards. This is my message to the young people.

The best way to supervise your men is from their reports that they make out. 

God sent me on earth. He send me to do something, and nobody can stop me. If God want to stop me, then I stop. Man never can.

A woman is the only thing I am afraid of that I know will not hurt me.

As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age - as in being able to remove ourselves.

To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.

There is a wisdom of the head, and a wisdom of the heart.

My only desire is that India should be a good producer and no one should be hungry, shedding tears for food in the Country.

 Anger cannot be suppressed forever. Pressure cookers burst. Volcanoes erupt.

If you can, help others; if you can't do that, at least don't harm them.

Too often the strong, silent man is silent only because he does not know what to say, and is reputed strong only because he has remained silent.  

I do not believe in immortality of the individual, and I consider ethics to be an exclusively human concern with no superhuman authority behind it.
