My rule of life prescribed as an absolutely sacred rite smoking cigar and also the drinking of alcohol before, after and if need be during all meals and in the interval between them.

This is not the time to marry. My country is calling me. I have taken a vow to serve the country with my heart and soul.

I was called a terrorist yesterday, but when I came out of jail, many people embraced me, including my enemies, and that is what I normally tell other people who say those who are struggling for liberation in their country are terrorists.

The desktop computer industry is dead. Innovation has virtually ceased. Microsoft dominates with very little innovation. That's over. Apple lost. The desktop market has entered the dark ages, and it's going to be in the dark ages for the next 10 years, or certainly for the rest of this decade.

Unlike a drop of water which loses its identity when it joins the ocean, man does not lose his being in the society in which he lives. Man's life is independent. He is born not for the development of the society alone, but for the development of his self.

It is best to rise from life as from a banquet, neither thirsty nor drunken.
