Our life of poverty is as necessary as the work itself. Only in heaven will we see how much we owe to the poor for helping us to love God better because of them.

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.

Joy is prayer; joy is strength: joy is love; joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls.

There are techniques of Buddhism, such as meditation, that anyone can adopt. And, of course, there are Christian monks and nuns who already use Buddhist methods in order to develop their devotion, compassion, and ability to forgive.

My main concern is meeting with public because my main commitment, main interest is promotion of human values, human affection, compassion and religious harmony.

Whether you call it Buddhism or other religion, self-discipline, that's important. Self-discipline with awareness of consequences.

I always say that people should not rush to change religion. There is real value in finding the spiritual resources you need in your home religion.

My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.

God, as Truth, has been for me a treasure beyond price. May He be so to every one of us.
