It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: then it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.

I did once seriously think of embracing the Christian faith. The gentle figure of Christ, so full of forgiveness that he taught his followers not to retaliate when abused or struck, but to turn the other cheek - I thought it was a beautiful example of the perfect man.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. 

The Sun determines the seasons on earth but human beings can influence the seasons by destroing the environment which could result in climate change.

If the United States of America or Britain is having elections, they don't ask for observers from Africa or from Asia. But when we have elections, they want observers.

I start where the last man left off.

I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won't presume to probe into the faults of others. 

Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life.

Nature's imagination is so boundless compared to our own meager human imagination.

I only ask to be free. The butterflies are free.

Where ignorance is our master, there is no possibility of real peace.

The ultimate authority must always rest with the individual's own reason and critical analysis.
