Enlightenment is the ultimate destination of the spiritual path.

All the nations and peoples are too closely knit together today for any one of them to imagine that it can live apart. Peace has been said to be indivisible, so is freedom, so is prosperity now, and so also is disaster in this one world that can no longer be split into isolated fragments.

Words which do not give the light of Christ increase the darkness.

Abundance may be the root cause of wastage.

I am always ready to learn although I do not always like being taught. 

Bottom line is, I didn't return to Apple to make a fortune. I've been very lucky in my life and already have one. When I was 25, my net worth was $100 million or so. I decided then that I wasn't going to let it ruin my life. There's no way you could ever spend it all, and I don't view wealth as something that validates my intelligence.

Man falls from the pursuit of the ideal of plan living and high thinking the moment he wants to multiply his daily wants. Man's happiness really lies in contentment.

Every time you give, you hope you'll see something new - some new species. Sometimes the ocean gives you a gift, sometimes it doesn't.

Arise! Awake! and stop not until the goal is reached.

If you are out to describe the truth, leave elegance to the tailor.

It'll be all of our efforts together. It won't won't ever be exactly the way I imagined it. And that is, I think, an important lesson as well, is that in any group enterprise it's going to be the sum total of the group.

Courageous people do not fear forgiving, for the sake of peace.
